| Abstract | This paper discusses a series of new techniques for neuromorphometry, including Minkowski's sausages, influence histograms, normal and tangent vector fields, point curvature, orientation histograms and bending energy. The possibilities opened by these developments with respect to the better understanding and more realistic simulation of the behavior of neural structures are also discussed. |
